Events

After a two-month break, I am back to doing live events. I am always happy to work with book clubs, libraries, schools and other groups. Here are a few events I am looking forward to this spring and summer.

I am always happy to speak at book clubs, schools and libraries, and at events of all kinds. Send inquiries to lori@loriduffyfoster.com.

April 28, Bath Planet Parking Lot Party, 1924 Grand Central Ave. Horseheads, NY. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Another new event for me! I will be among 15 vendors set up in the company's parking lot for this spring party. It's a great opportunity to pick up a book or other gifts for Mother's Day! If for no other reason, come for the funnel cake. Yum!

June 1, Word in Bloom, Main Street, Canandaigua, NY, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is part of the larger Canandaigua in Bloom event, a celebration of spring that takes place through the quaint Finger Lakes city's historic district. Dozens of authors, all members of the Finger Lakes Authors and Readers Experience (FLARE) will be selling and signing books under tents on the streets. I will provide more information as it becomes available.

July 7, Read Between the Vines, Vineyard View Winery, 2971 Williams Hill Rd, Keuka Park, NY, Time TBA. I will be among at least a dozen local authors signing and selling books on the scenic grounds of this family-owned winery overlooking Keuka Lake. Come browse the books while enjoying the sun, the view and the award-winning wines. The event is hosted by the winery and the Finger Lakes Authors and Readers Experience (FLARE).

July 13, The Windmill Farm & Craft Market, 3900 NY-14A, Penn Yan, NY. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. I will be among dozens of authors of all genres selling and signing books among the more than 175 shops of this three-season farmer's market in the heart of the Finger Lakes. More details to come! The event is hosted by the Windmill and the Finger Lakes Authors and Readers Experience (FLARE).

Aug. 10, Wellsboro Comic Con, Wellsboro, PA, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. "Classic creativity wrapped in rural charm!" Thousands of people are expected for this free indoor/outdoor event, which spans all three floors of The Deane Center for the Performing Arts, The Warehouse Theatre, The Deane Center Lawn, and Central Ave from Main St. to Water St.I hope to be in the Deane Center, but I will know more as the event nears. Comic Con is hosted by Pop's Culture Shoppe on Main Street. This should be a blast!
